If your dog likes swimming, check out Bloedel Donovan Beach, which is about 20 miles from Haynie, Washington. You can cool off in the morning with your pooch. You will want to keep in mind that there are limited hours at this beach; they only allow dogs from 6am to 10am. You pup can be off his leash during this time, but keep in mind is that this beach is not fenced in. You will need to bring water and waste disposal bags for your pooch. The beach area is sandy, and there is not much shade available, so make sure to bring a blanket and umbrella!
