Some of those fields belong to the Harry S Truman Park, a pretty outdoor area with dense trees, open fields, and a mile of paved walkways. The paths connect to a fishing pond, a playground, a pavilion, restrooms, a picnic area, water fountains, and benches. Pups can also enjoy the dog-friendly park of White Birch Park, which offers a nice green field again a water park. The park offers 8 acres of grassy lawn to play on, with .6 miles of paved looping trails, a playground, and gazebo. The park requires pups to remain on a leash, but offers other amenities like water fountains, benches, trash bins, and clean-up stations. Brookes Park is another great place to take Fido, thanks to its quiet area backed by dense trees and lush fields. The Fox Crest Drive and Foxtrail Drive neighborhood is a suburban neighborhood on the outside of the city's center, packed with rows of residential homes. If you and Fido need a place to play here, head over to the Queen Ann Park where there's lots of shade, paved trails, and open space. You need to leash Fido up before coming here, but can enjoy a playground, basketball court, a pavilion, picnic tables, and restrooms. There's a nice shaded place to sit, over .4 miles of trail to use, or plenty of space to play in, but whatever you decide to do, remember to leash up Fido. You can also enjoy amenities like water fountains, benches, and trash bins.

Fountain Creek is a quiet and rural neighborhood on the outskirts of Florissant, filled with rows of residential homes, and just a mile from Hazelwood. The drive is worth it when you can bring your pup to Duchesne Park, a dog-friendly park that offers lots of amenities.
