Within those 24,000 acres are 100 miles of trails that you and your dog can hike on. A leash will be required, though. The trails in this park are somewhat rugged. All hikers should be prepared with the right shoes and plenty of water. There are guided walking trails for less athletic dogs and people. Dogs are welcome at the campsite at the state park. They must be on leash and under control at all times.
