Honeoye Falls is a small village in Monroe County, and a lovely place if your pup loves the water. The Honeoye Creek features a cool waterfall that runs straight through the town. Besides a great creek, the village also offers a plethora of amazing parks to play in and a great trail to hike along with your pup. With two veterinarians, your dog will be well taken care of when you visit.

Get a good hike in on the Lehigh Valley Trail. The pawsome trail is 16.4-miles long with a mixed trail surface of ballast, cinder, dirt, and grass. The trail will take you through a park with picnic tables, a meadow, and some industrial parts of the village. Some of the trails are shaded, and occasionally you will see some natural wildlife like deer when you're hiking.

If Fido isn't in the mood to hike, take him out to the Mendon Center Park. This dogtastic park offers tennis courts, a great grass area to run, and a nice walking path to get a good walk in for the day. There isn't a lot of shade provided, so make sure to bring plenty of water while you enjoy the park together.

Take a walk on the trail that goes throughout the park and down to the creek. Markus Park is a beautiful 70-acre park filled with so many pawsome activities that you and Fido can do together. The park features a playground, ball fields, volleyball court, swimming pool, three tennis courts, a basketball court, and an archery range. If you and your pup want a picnic, take advantage of the covered picnic area that the park offers. Make sure to travel along the numerous hiking trails that the park has, and let Fido splash around in the pond and stream.
