Dog Areas in Huntington Bay

1 Park
Huntington Bay is a village in the town of Huntington. It is considered one of the more affluent neighborhoods in the area. The village was formed in 1924 as a waterside town on the waters of the Huntington Bay for which the community is named. Nathan Hale visited the area long ago, and there is a memorial to his infamous stop in the area.

Huntington Bay is on the northern end of the larger town of Huntington, which makes it easy for residents to get around for work and for entertainment. The bay connects the area to the Long Island Sound. The village has its own yacht club and beach.

There are seven animal hospitals in the greater Huntington area, making it easy to find quality care for your beloved pup whether he needs an annual exam or more intensive care.

The city of Huntington, including Huntington Bay, has somewhat strict policies regarding where dogs can and can't go. You will need to check posted signs to make sure your leashed pet is permitted in the area. Dogs need to be kept on a leash less than six feet long, and humans need to be actively attentive to their dogs at all times while exploring Huntington.
