Huntington Station is a hamlet within the town of Huntington. Located on Long Island, this small community was named after the local railroad station. Residents have a major claim to fame here- Huntington Station is the birthplace of famous poet Walk Whitman. His previous home now stands as a museum.

What better way to spend some quality time with your pooch than taking her to the park. Huntington Station dogs will definitely agree. Manor Field Park is one of the community's largest parks. Leash up your pup and take a couple laps around the multipurpose fields. Since this park also has a variety of sport courts, ball fields and a playground, there will be plenty of two legged friends for your pal to socialize with. The Depot Road Richard W. Holst Memorial Park is another great spot to take Fido. It may be small in size, but this park has just enough area for sniffing and exploring.

If your pup is feeling under the weather, no need to worry, Huntington Station has top of the line veterinary care readily accessible. Advanced Animal Care Center, Island Veterinary Group and The Animal Center are fully equipped to handle preventative care, wellness exams, surgical procedures and more. Your pal will be back on her paws in no time.
