The Panzarella Island Park is a woofderful place to relax! Check out some of the best views of the Chadakoin River up close and personal. This park is mainly for viewing, with the water as the main attraction. There’s also a fishing dock, but it’s hard to get your dog to hold the pole correctly. Walking along the overlook to the river is a great way to exercise your dog (and yourself) while enjoying some of what makes Jamestown so unique! Panzarella Island Park is also not really on an island, so you can simply walk or drive there if you’re already downtown.

Forest Heights
Chadakoin Park in Forest Heights is a community gathering place. It’s also a good place to fish, as they have their own fishing dock. This park is set along the Chadakoin River, though swimming is prohibited. Your leashed dog is welcome to join you in the park. You can walk the meadows and sometimes sports fields, or just walk down the path beside the river. There is also a small play area if you’re looking for a park that will appeal to the whole family. This park is the highlight of Forest Heights, and pupular with the locals! Stick to the outskirts if your dog doesn’t like crowds.
