Jenkintown is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania that's only ten miles north of central Philadelphia. It has a population of around 4,500 people, and was first settled in 1697 but wasn't incorporated until 1874. Jenkintown is primarily a residential area, but there is a business district within the borough. One of those small towns with a big heart, Jenkintown has an excellent reputation for being a safe place to live with great school systems, and of course, it's an excellent place to raise canine children as well! Architecture buffs will get a kick out of many historically significant and unique buildings in Jenkintown, and the restaurant scene is also a big draw. Jenkintown has warm summers and cool winters, and if you're a rain lover, you'll appreciate that Jenkintown gets slightly more rain on average than other US cities.

Found right in the center of Jenkintown is Marzano Ristoranti, and this excellent restaurant serves up dishes that will appeal to everyone in your family. Their outdoor patio with pew seating welcomes dogs, so Fido can be by your side while you chow down on dishes like ravioli, spaghetti, burgers, and their pistachio gelato for dessert. You're going to love this dog-friendly town!
