North Kaukauna
The neighborhood of North Kaukauna rests right along the northern half of the Fox River. Close to the shore of the river is Grignon Park, a recreational and open space park, surrounded by dense forests that offer nature trails and shaded sitting areas. There are 4 different soccer fields, a picnic pavilion, restrooms, and a small playground for children. The dog-friendly park is perfect for Fido to run around in, play or just go for a nice walk. If you want to stay in the neighborhood or just go camping, head over to the Apple Creek Campground, which is a dog-friendly campsite area that allows dogs to roam off-leash while staying with their owner. There are benches and trash bins at each campsite.

Kaukauna Center
Kaukauna Center is a busy place! Centered in the middle of the city, it has a large shopping district and access to downtown. In the urban jungle, dog walkers can still head to La Follette Park for a nice walk. The park is in the northern part of the neighborhood along the Fox River, with gorgeous sights of the river and soothing surroundings thanks to the thick trees and grassy fields of the area. The Buchanan Road neighborhood is a clustered area, packed with residential homes and schools. In the center of all the homes is Horseshoe Park, which provides residents and pups a large open space to run around and play in. Additional features of the park include a pavilion, playground, benches, picnic tables, trash bins, water fountains, and clean-up stations. For those pups just looking for a long walk, head over to the Konkapot Creek Trail, a 1.2-mile trail that follows the communities creek, made from asphalt and with views of natural wildflowers.

South Kaukauna
South Kaukauna is a quiet and small neighborhood, comprised of old farmland and residential homes. On the northern corner of the neighborhood is Fieldcrest Park, a community space with a playground, pavilion, swingsets, and paved walkways. Dogs have to remain on a leash here, but can enjoy a peaceful place to run around and play freely. On the other end of the neighborhood is Jonen Park, with has a lot more open space, fewer trees, a pond for fishing, and an enclosed baseball diamond. Dogs can run around the pond and open area, go into the baseball field and enjoy water fountains, benches, and trash bins.

Kaukauna Riverside is a neighborhood on the northwest side of the city, right along the northern shore of Fox River. Also on the river's edge is Riverside Park, which has a mixture of open fields and thick woods. The park has some great features, like a fenced-in baseball field, paved walkways that encircle the park, a boat launch, fishing dock, pavilion, and restrooms. Dogs are welcome in the park, as long as they remain on a leash, and have access to clean-up stations, water fountains, and benches and can run around in the fenced-in baseball field.
