Dog Areas in La Puente

2 Eateries

La Puente, California is located east of downtown Los Angeles. In the late 1700’s, explorers had to build a bridge to cross the San Gabriel River, and eventually founded a settlement in the area. "Puente" is the Spanish word for bridge, which is how La Puente earned its name.

La Puente is a small, historic, and dog-loving town! There are two dog-friendly restaurants here, both of which serve burgers and other American cuisine. The first one is Jim’s Burgers, and they have a few tables outside for you and your canine friend to relax and eat together. The second one is In-N-Out Burger, a fast food favorite for Cali dogs and their owners. You'll find ten outdoor tables to accommodate you and your pooch. Be sure to keep your dog on a leash at both establishments, and bring along a water bowl.

La Puente, California doesn't have a lot of other activities or amenities for your pup to enjoy, but you'll find many more Fido-friendly places, including beaches, parks, and trails, just a short drive out of town.
