Known also as Whiskey City, Lawrenceburg is located about thirty minutes west of Cincinnati, Ohio. This quaint town features a variety of activities for pups and their families. There is a separate area for smaller dogs in addition to drinking water and a wading pool for pups who like to get their feet wet. About 8 miles northeast of Lawrenceburg, Shawnee Lookout is best known for the Springhouse School, Native American relics, and the Log Cabin. The park features several nature trails including the 2-mile Little Turtle, 1.3-mile Blue Jacket, and the 1.4 mile Miami Fort Trails. You can stroll with your pup through the wilderness, and Fido will have a puptastic time smelling the plants and trees. You can wander through the historical sights and learn about the history of Hamilton County.
