Are you roaming around the Greater Austin metropolitan area? If you find yourself in the small town of Liberty Hill, then you are in luck! It’s not your average vibrant town, but you and Fido are sure to have a grand time here nonetheless. There is one animal clinic available in Liberty Hill, just in case it’s time for your pup’s check-up!
Liberty Hill has many hidden gems. Known largely by locals, the Thirsty Mule Winery and Vineyard is one such example, and is a pawtastic activity to enjoy with your furry friend (yes, pups are welcome!) No reservations needed, just wag in to the Thirsty Mule for a furrific time discovering Texas’ only underground winery! Pups should be leashed and are not allowed in the exclusive human-only tasting bar.
For a real treat, visit the Liberty Hill International Sculpture Park to voyage back in time to 1976, when the International Sculpture Symposium hosted artists all around the world to feature their masterpieces. You can now visit the park with your pup and see nearly 27 sculptures made from native granite, concrete and steel, among other materials. You can also find some of the sculptures relocated in the adjacent Lion’s Foundation Park.
Liberty Hill is a pawpular location for travelers and doggie-owners looking to escape the concrete jungle of Austin city and a pawfect retreat for you and Fido!
From my first dog at 7 yrs old, to a three year Europe trip with RAMBO, who never left my side, to now living on a Texas ranch with 8 dogs, its clear where my heart is with good ole dogs. They are the most loyal and amazing animals in all of creation and its our duty to give back and love them the way they love us. I'll take as good of care of your pups as I have with all of mine. Look forward to meeting him or her!
