Hilton Head Island Beaches, as you might have guessed, is home to miles of sandy beaches stretching along the eastern part of Hilton Head Island from north to south. Animals are permitted on all beach areas during the official beach season, but must be kept on a leash and supervised at all times. Your pooch will have access to Adler Lane Beach, which is a well-maintained facility with restrooms and showers. There aren’t usually too many people around, so if you want your mutt to splash and enjoy himself, this may be a convenient place to do so. Burkes Beach is another dog-friendly space offering a fun time for four-legged visitors just a bit farther south from Adler Lane. If you are more into parks rather than beaches, then the area also has Chaplin Park, just a skip and a hop from shore. The park is enormous, with three separated areas for your mutt to play and socialize and some shaded places with benches and doggie fountains.
