Located in Hillsborough County, Lithia is a far eastern suburb of Tampa. This area includes a state park, some walking paths, and a few nature reserves. There are four veterinary clinics in the greater Lithia area that you can check out when your pup needs professional services.
Take your pooch camping at Lithia Springs Park. This 160-acre facility, known for its natural spring, includes hiking trails and a first-come, first-serve campsite. Dogs on a leash up to six feet long are permitted to join you in designated areas of the park. Make sure you pick up any waste.
If you want to play some ball or frisbee with your dog, head just west of Lithia to Boyette Springs Park. This facility, located on Deepbrook Drive, has some open field where Spot can get a little exercise as long as he's under your control at all times. Bring waste bags with you.
There's a nice little park just north of Fish Hawk on Stearns Park Road. Head to Stearns Park to enjoy a walk or jog around the fields and past the woods. You can bring dogs here if they're on a leash and you clean up after them.
Lithia is a wonderful area with a range of dog-friendly activities that you can check out with your fur baby.
