The ground in the dog park is covered with a fine, hard gravel. Some people don't like it, but the dogs don't seem to care! This ground doesn't get muddy after a rain like most grass-covered dog parks do. Water is not inside the dog park, but can be found in the nearby restrooms. There are benches outside the dog park, but there is no seating within the dog park itself.

Riverside County Park in Lyndhurst, nine miles south of Lodi, offers people some scenic walking paths along the Passaic River.
