It is a pawpular spot for dogs and owners since it is so much fun. The park is divided into two sections; one section is where pups can run around on the grass and dirt, and the other gated section is where you can enter the pond area. Be sure to bring a towel or two, because your pooch will love taking a dip in the pond after working up a good pant with his new canine companions! Shade and seating are available, but you should always keep some supplies, like water and waste bags, on hand for outdoor excursions with your dog.

This dog-friendly neighborhood is home to the Davidson Mesa Dog Park. This dog park has a huge open area where dogs and their owners can explore. This furrific neighborhood is located 20 miles from Louisville, Colorado and is home to the Beaver Brook Trail. If you're not an experienced hiker, you may find this trail difficult. It is rocky in some spots, and the hike back up is more difficult than the hike down. It is located at the southern border of Clear Creek Canyon. Along the way, you'll see a river which crosses the trail at several points and is the pawfect place for your pooch to dip his paws. This hike has a wonderful view as well. Union Reservoir
Just 15 miles from Louisville, you'll find Union Reservoir Dog Beach. The sand is a little gritty, but the water has easy access and you can get in (up to your waist) and play with your pooch in the water.
