The city of Madera, California was incorporated in March of 1907. Madera acquired its name from the Spanish word which means lumber; this is because it was home to the California Lumber Company that shipped lumber by train.

They have outdoor seating for you and your canine friend to sit at while you enjoy their delicious selection of food. The Book Passage Cafe and Wine Bar is another great place to check out. Your canine pal will love all of the different smells to sniff along the trail. You will need to bring water and supplies for cleaning up after your pooch.
