Dog Areas in Marblehead

The coastal city of Marblehead has a very rich and unique history, and is home to many attractions worth visiting. The city is also known as the birthplace of the Continental Navy -- which preceded the US Navy -- as well as the United States Marine Corps Aviation. Some of the attractions that you can visit during your stay here are the Marblehead Neck Wildlife Sanctuary, Marblehead Lighthouse, and Crocker Park.

When it comes to your pup's health, you'll be happy to know that there are two animal hospitals in the city that will take great care of your pooch. While you're here, be sure to take Fido for a walk along the Marblehead Rail-Trail, which is perfect for those of you who love nature views.

Unfortunately, there are no dog-friendly restaurants within Marblehead itself, but the city is just 16 miles from Boston, where you'll find plenty of op-paw-tunities for dog-friendly fun! Just remember to bring a leash and plenty of water along for your excursions in Boston.

If you need a place where you can stay along with your canine friend in Marblehead, check out The Seagull Inn Bed and Breakfast, which allows pets to stay for an additional $25.
