Marshall is in the county of Marin on the northeast shore of Tomales Bay. The small town was originally named after the four Marshall brothers who set up a dairy industry in the town in the 1850s. Today, there are remnants of the dairy history in current businesses, such as the Straus Family Creamery. One thing residents love as much as their milk are their pets. Although there are no veterinarians located directly in Marshall, there are over 20 on the outskirts of town that offer pet care whenever Marshall dogs' are in need.

Hike along the Point Reyes National Seashore with Fido and get a great workout in. The Point Reyes Natonal Seashore is located right along the Pacific Ocean, and is perfect for your pup to splash around in. Depending on when you visit, you may even catch the annual gray whale migration. Other amazing activities include bird watching, over 150-miles of trails to hike, and horse back riding.
