Three miles out of Middletown is Port Monmouth, home to the Bay Shore Waterfront Park. This area is a great spot to take Fido for a nice walk and a great day out, especially since it is right on the beach. The scenic walk will give you and Fido a great backdrop for a lovely photo. The park is in Oceanport, only eight miles out of Middletown, and features 4-acres with separated areas for large and small dogs. The park also offers clean-up bags, restrooms, benches, and tables for everyone to enjoy. The park does not provide any water, so be sure to bring your own. Locals love this park because it has more then enough room for dogs to run around and have a pawrific time.
