The Weiser River runs through this charming farming community, welcoming to visitors and their pups! For some outdoor adventure, head to the Mann Creek State Park, located on the Mann Creek Reservoir, just south of Midvale in city of Weiser. The reservoir covers 283 acres, including five miles of shoreline for you to wander. This is a premier fishing location, where you can fish from the shore or from your boat. Rainbow trout and bass are stocked three times a year here. Plenty of boating and swimming opportunities exist for you and your pawtastic friend. Day use picnic areas with restrooms are located near the campground. How about planning an overnight stay here with Fido? Dogs are allowed off leash anywhere in the park, except for the campground. Memorial Park, in Downtown Weiser, southwest of Midvale, is a great place to spend some relaxing time with your pup. There is a pool, sports fields where the community comes together for games, and tennis courts. The National Fiddling Contest is held here annually, where you and Fido can enjoy the music! Or head to City Park or Veteran’s Park to sit and enjoy nature on its landscaped, grassy areas. The Weiser Fishing Pond is where you can throw in a line to catch some fish for lunch!  Be sure to keep pup on leash at all area parks.

Lake Cascade Park, in the city of Cascade north of Midvale, is home to 500 acres of nature! This park is the place to take your fur-ever friend for a hike on its miles of trails. Offering plenty of water activities as well, you can find a place to let Fido swim, and there are plenty of great fishing or ice fishing spots.
