Memorial Park, in Downtown Weiser, southwest of Midvale, is a great place to spend some relaxing time with your pup. There is a pool, sports fields where the community comes together for games, and tennis courts. The National Fiddling Contest is held here annually, where you and Fido can enjoy the music! Or head to City Park or Veteran’s Park to sit and enjoy nature on its landscaped, grassy areas. Rotary Park is the place to visit in the West McCall neighborhood in McCall, northeast of Midvale. This park lies on beautiful Payette Lake, and offers open grassy areas to throw down a blanket and relax with pup by your side. There is a cool playground for the kiddies, plenty of picnic tables and restrooms are provided here as well as drinking fountains. Lake Cascade Park, in the city of Cascade north of Midvale, is home to 500 acres of nature! This park is the place to take your fur-ever friend for a hike on its miles of trails. Offering plenty of water activities as well, you can find a place to let Fido swim, and there are plenty of great fishing or ice fishing spots. Non-motorized boats can be put in and many come to windsurf on this lake. Also, check out the Payette River Basin Water Trail which offer miles of river for canoeing or kayaking with your pup.
