Monson Village is the tract of land that was the original settlement of Milford, and today it's a historic, 269-acre area with recreational opportunities for the entire family. Your dog is allowed off-leash here, provided they are under voice control. Another thing that makes Monson Village is the caretaker, Russ, who is a descendant of one of the settlers. He and his wife restored the last colonial home on the property, and now it's a museum. Hudson is a town in New Hampshire located about 15 miles from Milford. Right in the heart of Hudson sits the Hudson Dog Park at Benson Park. Benson Park is a large park with amenities that include playgrounds, a small animal farm, walking trails, and, of course, the off-leash dog park! The dog park opened in 2012 and it's become a special place for residents and visitors to allow their dogs to romp around off-leash.
