Mount Laurel is a suburb that sits near the border of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and while it enjoys a close proximity to all that the big cities offer, this smaller town is far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Being home to twelve veterinarians, Mount Laurel is a great spot to take your pup for a fun day out with safety in mind.

If Fido is itching to get out, take him to the Mount Laurel State Park. This pawsome park offers a trail that wanders through the wooded areas of Mount Laurel. The trail will take you over a pretty steep hill, so be prepared to climb. Water is a must out here, as there is none available along the way.

After a fun day out at the park, head to Angelo's Pizza, a tasty eatery that serves Italian inspired dishes including classic pizza pies. If you are looking for something a little different, check out Roly Poly Rolled Sandwiches. This restaurant serves dozens of hot and cold sandwiches and even allows you to build your own wrap. Both these restaurants have dog friendly tables and welcome your pup to dine with you.

If your pup needs some off leash romping, make sure to take him to the Laurel Acres Dog Park. This pawsome dog park is fully fenced in with separate areas so large and small dogs can play with pups their own size. Waste bags are provided in case you forget yours, but the park is known to get a little muddy, so be prepared for Fido to become a hot mess before leaving the park. If your dog isn't a fan of the dog park, then you both can still enjoy the Laurel Acres Park. The park features a small fishing lake, a nature trail, a baseball diamond, and a volleyball court.
