If you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy a fantastic meal, and you want your dog to enjoy an outing with you, head to the northern section of Murrells Inlet. The Spotted Dog Restaurant has a lower deck where Fido can dine with you if the weather’s nice. This local favorite serves up southern comfort food and fresh seafood, including barbecue and spiced shrimp. The Carolina Tavern is famous for its delicious chicken wings, and they also have outdoor seating where Fido can tag along. A leash is required at both restaurants, as is good behavior.

Huntington Beach State Park
Huntington Beach State Park, conveniently located in Murrells Inlet, is sure to be fun for the whole family, and that includes your four-legged friend! Leashed dogs are allowed on the south end of the beach, and they’re also allowed on the 2.5-mile trail that loops through the park.
