Brighton is a Boston neighborhood located in the northwestern region of the city, just a few miles away from the borough of Newton Corner. There are several recreation areas in the heart of Brighton, but the coolest spot is Rogers Park, a marvelous dog park dedicated entirely to canines and their loyal owners. Aspinwall Hill
A Brookline neighborhood, Aspinwall Hill is a nice but rather busy place, with a bustling commercial area and lots of traffic near Beacon and Washington streets. According to Brookline's leash laws, pooches are welcome to go wild off-leash in the public parks from dawn to 9 am. If you have a buddy who would prefer a good run to a good sleep, enjoy the small but well-shaded area of Schick Park. The park is fenced and has benches -- however, it does not have drinking water facilities, so you'll need to bring some. Want more playtime? Jean Waldstein Playground is another nice public park with off-leash policies for mutts before 9 am.

Emerson Gardens is one of the central neighborhoods in Brookline with a super busy commercial area and a variety of eateries. It's also home to a few public recreation spots, which are effectively dog parks early in the morning! According to Brookline’s Green Dog Park Program, the public parks become a great place to play off-leash with Fido and burn some energy! However, the timing is a bit unusual -- dogs are allowed off-leash from dawn to 9 am.
