If you’re looking for a great place to spend the day with your dog, head to Kennedy Dells Park. This 179-acre park is home to New City’s off-leash dog park. To reach the park, you’ll have to walk up a short trail to the top of a hill. Once you reach the top of the hill, you’ll see a large, fenced-in grassy area where your dog can run and play. There's no water in the dog park, so you may want to bring water with you. After your dog is finished playing, put them back on their leash and take them for a walk through the park’s lovely wooded hiking trails.

This neighborhood is home to Demarest Kill Park, a county park that allows dogs on-leash. The 30-acre park has a hiking trail that goes around a beautiful lake and through wooded areas. There are also picnic tables and benches where you can sit and enjoy the view. After your walk, go for lunch or a snack at one of the numerous dog-friendly restaurants near this park. If you’re in the mood for sushi, head to Wasabi, and grab one of their two dog-friendly tables. Or, if you’re craving pizza or pasta, check out Calabria Restaurant. After your dog is finished at the dog park, take them for an on-leash walk on Katiat’s stunning hiking trails.
