Olivette makes its dogs right at home with activities and places to experience. Two veterinary clinics inside the city limits help a furry companion stay healthy with routine and emergency care. No reason to go hungry in Olivette!  Fallon’s on Olive Boulevard gives a person and a pup a few outdoor tables. Fallon’s menu will make even the human companion wag a tail (if they had one!). Sandwiches and a variety tasty entrees make for a lunch or dinner. For a sweet dessert, you and your pup can head to SugarFire Pie. Dog-friendly seating at one of outdoor tables makes a sweet pie even sweeter because your pup gets to stay.

Olivette is a small town big on parks.  Seven parks have all the things a person with a pup wants. One .8-mile walkway encircles the city and makes for some good on-leash adventure. This walking path is paved. Stacy Park is the largest park in Olivette. Stacy’s 35 acres provide places for barbecues and picnics. Large open green spaces and walking paths make for some on-leash exercise for the dog and human companion.  

Warson Park, Indian Meadows Park, and the Community Center also have walking paths to enjoy with a leashed dog. Pavilions are found in almost all the parks. A more organized meal or event can be held in a rented pavilion. Dogs on leash may join the outdoor party.

Irv Zeid Citizen’s Park offers dogs a fully fenced play place for off-leash fun. This dog park does not have a small dog enclosure, though. Tails big and small wag with excitement when they visit here! People have some shaded benches. Leave that water bottle at home! Person and pup won’t go thirsty in this pawfect dog park. Doggie waste stations make it super easy for the human companion to clean up after their pal. The main park invites leashed pups to spend time with their person at a barbecue or just a stroll through some green spaces. The park is open dawn to dusk. The dog park is accessible by membership only. Registration is obtainable through the city’s Parks Department.

Maryland Heights, a suburb of St. Louis, is six miles south of Olivette. Maryland Heights knows how to entertain people and dogs. Westport Plaza entertains people, Dogport Dog Park is for the dogs! Four acres of fenced playground lets dogs find a furry pal or two. Small dogs will play with their own kind in a separate safer play area. Dogport mixes it up on the kind of ground dogs get to check out. Gravel, dirt and patches of grass here and there make a few mysteries for curious hounds to sniff out!  Dogport does dogs right with water and kiddie water pools in the summer. This dog park is for members only; registration is with the City of Maryland Heights.

Creve Coeur is ten miles south of Olivette. The Dog Park at Conway Park is the pawfect place to have a tail-waggin' good time, with over two acres of green grass fully enclosed just for dogs. Smaller dogs get a half acre for themselves. This park has amenities galore for a dog’s amusement. A bone-shaped kiddie pool lets a pup cool down and splash. Just the right pose for a photograph! People have a few places to sit while pup plays. No excuses for not cleaning up after your furry friend -- waste baggies are in ample supply. This dog park requires registration; contact the city's parks department for more details.

Ballwin is twenty-one miles south of Olivette, but it's well worth the drive! Tails & Trails at Queeny Park is the destination for dogs!  Here, you'll find five acres of nature fenced for nothing but off-leash adventure. Dogs can roam and check out a creek and a lake, so don't fur-get to bring a towel! Small dogs aren’t without their spot; a separate area gives them a piece of natural paradise, too. Agility equipment adds some variety. A human companion may even join in and help train. The pavilion is a place for the human companion to sit in shaded comfort. Drinking water and waste stations complete this pawfect package. This dog park requires registration in St. Louis County.

Sunset Hills is twenty-one miles southeast of Olivette. Kitun Dog Park gives an acre of ground just for the canines. Dogs can run and play leash-free here. A climb, jump or run through a piece of agility equipment adds to the experience. Small dogs find their separate enclosure a safe haven for smaller canine activities. Forgot your water bottle? No problem! Kitun provides water for both person and pup. The human companion will find plenty of places to sit. Doggie waste stations leave no excuse for not keeping Kitun clean. This dog park is open from sunrise until sunset. Membership is required. Registration is through Sunset Hills or Crestwood.
