This dog-friendly neighborhood is home to the Humane Society of Pagosa Springs Dog Park. This one-acre, off-leash dog park is the pawfect place for a day out with your best fur-iend. It’s open from May through December, weather permitting. This is a fenced in area with two sections available. One section is for smaller dogs and the other is for larger dogs. There are benches, trees, water stations and toys for your pooch to play with. You’ll need to register with the humane society to use this park, though. Just bring your pup to the main desk at the Humane Society and the staff will help you with the paperwork.

This neighborhood is dog-friendly and has a great place for you and your pooch to camp. The Pagosa Riverside Campground is located on the San Juan River. Dogs are allowed at this campground site as long as they are on a leash when outside of any vehicle. There is a great view, and all of the campground sites have picnic benches with large shaded areas.
