Parkville, Maryland is on the northern edge between Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Just east of Towson University, Parkville is a great combination area for those who seek a place to live or visit that has a little of both worlds right inside. Parkville has a combination of town homes and stand-alone houses that will suit most home buyers’ tastes. Dogs love the area because of the lush greenery found there in spring and summer, in addition to plenty of places for beautiful afternoon walks. There are six animal hospitals in the area, making animal care convenient and worry-free for travelers and new neighbors.

Baltimore City and County require that dogs be on leash at all times, and that rabies licenses are kept with the dog (either on your person or on your dog’s collar). Dogs are common in the area with their humans, so you and your pup will be sure to make plenty of fast friends there. There are three restaurants in Parkville that allow dogs in their outdoor seating areas. The most popular with locals is Rita’s Italian Ice, a seasonal dessert and frozen treat stand found in multiple locations throughout the state. Just ask your cashier what treats they have on the menu that your pup might get a lick out of!
