Parhsall is a small mountain town in Grand County, Colorado. The town is so small, it only takes up 190-acres of land. This beautiful area sits along the north banks of the Colorado River and holds a few great trails that you and your pup can explore. There are no veterinarians in Parshall, but there is one you can visit down the road in Granby.
Take your dog on a great hike along the Lake Evelyn Trail. This trail is rated as difficult since it is 4.9-miles long with a 1,148-foot elevation gain and an out and back route type. The trail takes you through the Arapaho National Forest in nearby Denver, and eventually to a lake where you and Fido can stop for some water. If Fido is looking for an easier hike, head over to the Keyser Creek Trail which offers a 19-mile hike that will start in Parshall and end in Fraser if you complete the entire hike. The trail offers numerous campsites along the river, so if you want to spend some time outdoors this is a great trail to choose.
Grab a bite to eat at the Parshall Inn. This pawsome authentic roadside diner has a friendly atmosphere and a dog-friendly outdoor patio that you and Fido can chow down on. Their menu has an array of options like prime rib, fried chicken, and seafood platters that your dog will be drooling over. Locals recommend grabbing a beer to compliment any meal you choose.
Your pup will have a great time exploring this mountain city with you by his side, especially after seeing the amazing hiking trails and restaurants the two of you can enjoy yourself at.
