The trail closely follows a historic canal that was used for mules pulling boats between 1827 to 1913. The trail's surface varies from boardwalk to asphalt and crushed stone, and along your journey, you and your leashed dog will pass beautiful scenery, historical sites, national parks, and communities.36
Stow Road
Bow Wow Beach Park in northeastern Stow, Ohio is less than 10 miles and only a 15-minute drive from Peninsula. This special 7.5-acre dog park surrounds a five-acre lake, so whether your dog prefers playing on dry land or cooling off in the water, you're covered! There is also a small dog section of the park, as well as various sections that are shaded or sunny.
