"Great walker able to deal with my energetic puppy so I can get some work done at home! Probably the first time Carter has come back from a walk actually tired! Thanks for exercising my pup!"
Potomac, Maryland was once a rural farming community, but it has been growing in population for the last 60 years, and is now a booming suburb of Washington D.C. All that old farming land has been put to good use, and has been converted into dog-friendly parks and nature trails. With five veterinarians for Potomac's four-legged residents, it sure is a putastic place to be!
Potomac has proven its love for its dog residents with the Cabin John Dog Park, a large, 5-acre park that's completely fenced in for off-leash play. The park has a hilly, mulchy terrain and features separate dog areas for smaller and larger dogs. You'll also find exercise equipment, dog-sized water fountains, clean-up stations and access to the trails through the forested area inside the enclosures here.
What dog doesn't love nature? The best nature trail to adventure out on is the Great Falls: Billy Goat Trail, a dog-friendly hiking area that follows the Potomac River. The path has separate sections, with dogs only being allowed on sections B and C due to safety precautions. Fido must remain on a leash, but will have gorgeous views of the river, shore access, and scenic waterfalls.
Rufftastic in every way, Potomac knows how to serve Fido and all his outdoor exercise needs!
Hollinridge is a quaint little neighborhood, with small communities and large areas dedicated to maintaining the natural look of the region. Two of these areas are known as Kilgour Branch Park and Watts Branch Parks. The two parks lay side by side and make up about 438 acres of natural land. Both parks are dog-friendly to leashed pups, offering over 7.3 miles of trails and creek access. The parks are great for birdwatching and fishing opportunities, and although dogs may come on the creek's shoreline, they are not allowed in the water. Trash bins and benches are available throughout the park, but clean-up bags and water must be brought.
Hi! My name is Carter, and I'm very excited to have the opportunity to walk your dog! I've been around dogs my entire life and have always loved and enjoyed them. I have boarded, dog-sat, and generally cared for multiple dogs over the past few years for my friends and now I'd like to help you! I'm knowledgable with different harnesses, types of dogs, and general dog allergies. I'm attentive to details about individual dogs so that they are able to receive the best care possible from me. I'm here to serve your needs as the owner as well as your dogs wants and needs when they are in my care! Thank you so much and have a dog-tastic day!
