Riverside, California, is a large city with over a population of over 300,000 in the Riverside County which is in turn part of the Inland Empire metropolitan area. And while a large amount of the land is devoted to residential and commercial zones, Riverside also has a more natural side as the historical home of the Navel Orange Trees, which becomes evident with all the parks in the area.

A great example is the Hidden Valley Nature Center and Wildlife Preserve. The trails of this natural park offer a breathtaking journey along the Santa Ana River and into the hills that surround the county. Dogs are welcome to trot along on a leash. The Carlson Dog Park is the place to be to unleash the dogs. This dog park is divided into three areas: for large dogs, small dogs, and puppies. The grass is green, and there is also agility equipment available. The location is perfect as it is close to the Mt. Rubidoux Trail, a scenic route with a magnificent view from the summit.

Another great option is the Pat Merritt Dog Park, which has all the amenities that are expected of a dog run: lots of space for dogs to run, a shaded area for dogs to find shelter and water fountain to replenish and wash up. Dog owners in Riverside have nothing to complain about!

"As a customer you have to appreciate an honest Wag walker. Angela let me know she was running a bit late however she made up the time with Rex which I was very pleased. She also got in a lot of distance with Rex! Which was awesome. She sent me many videos of Rex on his walk, absolutely loved. She was also very sweet with Rex :) would book again! "
