Situated along Rancocas Creek, Riverside is a small town with a rich and interesting history. Originally a resort town called Progress, Riverside welcomed Philadelphians who wanted to take a summer vacation in the countryside. Riverside also used to be home to the world's largest watch case manufacturer, with its clock tower now a local landmark. There is also one veterinary hospital to serve your best friend's needs while you're in town.

Take Fido for a leashed stroll under large trees at the Spring Garden Park, located in the Riverside Town Center. This shady park features paved walkways, playground equipment, benches, and a pavilion. It's a good idea to bring some food so you and your furry pal can have a snack while you're there. Remember to bring doggie waste bags as well so you can clean up after your pooch.

Another spot where Fido can go for a walkie is Whomsley Field. This park is used by the local kids to play baseball, softball, and soccer, so you might catch a game or practice session while you're there. Aside from open space, you and Fido will find a tank on display at Whomsley Field.
