This park is often busy, so be sure to go early in the morning or late in the evening if your dog needs more room and fewer friends. Leash your dog up and head through the park, then walk the lake to your heart’s content. This great view prevents the short path from getting boring. If you’re ready to take it easy, retreat to a shaded bench or picnic table and let your dog rest up! Be aware that the park is light on amenities. You should bring your own water and a doggie bowl to help your pup cool down. Please remember, no swimming!

Brevard Parks and Recreation in nearby Cocoa serves the entire Brevard County community. It’s an eight minute car ride from the heart of Rockledge, and well worth the drive! Bring the whole family! This park has an extensive community center (dogs aren’t allowed inside, unfortunately) as well as a playground and fitness area. The shaded picnic area is a hit with families and people who just want to take a load off. Dogs are fans of the open spaces, and with such a large area to explore you can be sure they’re getting enough exercise to sleep soundly tonight! Brevard Parks and Recreation requires your dog to be on leash.
