Rose Hill is a 1950’s-built neighborhood of the large city of Alexandria, Virginia. Family-oriented and close to shopping, entertainment and big town amenities, Rose Hill offers top-rated schools and friendly, diversified neighborhoods. Although small, Rose Hill boasts three area veterinarians, with lots of other nearby neighborhoods options, to keep your pup at his healthiest.

Take your pup to Ridgeview Park for a challenging walk throughout its hilly terrain. Too much effort for the smaller or elderly dogs?  Relax in the many shaded areas of the park next to meandering streams. Check out the summer concert series which will entertain both humans and dogs alike! Be sure to bring water and clean up bags.

Rose Hill offers a couple dog-friendly restaurants to bring your pup like Aldo’s Italian Kitchen, where you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner at their outside tables. For hot or cold sandwiches or pizza favorites, try Mama Mia’s Pizza in the Rose Hill Shopping Center. Or head over on those hot days to The Dairy Godmother, where Fido can enjoy frozen ice cream puppy pops. Or how about a squirrel biscuit - one of Godmother’s specialties for dogs! Now that’s the way to end a great day!
