Ellis Park is another dog-friendly park, with an open space surrounded by trees with shade. Dogs can walk on the paved walkways, play in the baseball field, and sit and relax. Additional features include water fountains, a playground, trash bins, benches, and a pavilion.

Round Lake Beach Center
The neighborhood of Round Lake Beach Center is a busy neighborhood, filled with shop fronts and a bustling shopping district. Even in the center through the community has beautiful dog-friendly parks, like Lakewood Park. The park is entirely fenced-in, giving Fido a great place to play while off their leash. Inside the park are two baseball fields, with benches, water fountains, and a paved path to walk on the outside of the fence. although if you're looking for a longer walk, head over to Highland Park, which has a paved sidewalk that encompasses the park, with a shaded sitting area and open area to run in. You will need to bring water and clean-up bags to both parks.

The Lakeview Drive neighborhood is a cozy residential area right on the shore of Round Lake. Right on the water is a park called Lakefront Park, which offers not only open space and paved trails but gorgeous views of the lake. The park has shaded sitting areas, a dog-friendly beach, a fishing pier, a boat launch, and a playground to play in. Dogs can run around, walk, or enjoy a picnic with their best friend. The park can get pretty busy though, so for a quieter time head to Idlewild Park. Dogs need to be on a leash, and you will need to bring water and clean-up bags.

North Round Lake Beach is an upper neighborhood on the north side of the city, filled with smaller ponds, open fields, and residential homes.
