Coquina Key Park on Locust has 16 acres of trails, ball fields, playgrounds, restrooms, and an off-leash fenced dog play area. Crescent Lake on 5th Street has more than 52 acres of wilderness, playgrounds, and a huge fenced dog park right on the lake. Kenwood Dog Park on 20th Street has three acres, fountains, picnic tables, shade trees, and a dog wash area. Lake Vista on 62nd has over 40 acres, playgrounds, trails, recreation center, pool, ball fields, and a fenced-in dog park with lots of room to run. North Shore Park on North Shore Drive has 33 acres, sports and aquatic complex, beach, and a huge dog park. Walter Fuller Park on 30th is the largest park with 133 acres, recreation center, pool, ball fields, playgrounds, skate park, trails, and a fenced dog park with plenty of space and equipment to play on.

On top of the list is Fort De Soto Paw Playground and Beach. It has as a huge playground where your dog can spend those extra calories from treats. Overnight camping is a popular activity with abundant facilities and picnic areas. Dogs are unquestionably allowed on the beach, and they can enjoy the area off-leash.

Gandy Bridge Causeway is a stretch of beach that also allows dogs to run and go swimming after enjoying some Florida sun. The area is famous for fishing so you can bring your reels with you. The area is strewn with mangroves in shallow water, giving you that perfect feel of nature. Measuring in at almost 3 miles long, the Gandy Bridge is just one of the three bridges that provide a vehicle landline to the mainland of Hillsborough County and Pinellas County.
