The off-leash park is fully fenced for added security. Visitors say that the park is very clean at all times. There is not much shade in the park, but fresh water and clean water bowls are available. Memorial Dog Park is conveniently located in the heart of San Ramon. This off-leash, fenced park has two areas: one for small dogs and another one for large dogs. Although there are trees in the park, there's not much shade here, so you might want to avoid visiting during the hottest times of the day. Pet parents can rest on a bench while they watch their pups play and make new friends with the local dogs. This large park is clean and well-maintained, and you'll find parking nearby as well. You should bring water and waste bags with you, even though these are usually provided.

King Park Dog Park is located a little further away from San Ramon than the other parks we've mentioned. This park is located in the Ponderosa Crossroads neighborhood of Brentwood, around 38 miles out of town. Leashed dogs are welcome in this park. There are picnic tables, basketball courts, a playground, and even a fenced, off-leash area for pups to play, which makes this park the perfect place for every member of the family! Even though the fenced area is not very big, it is pretty clean and the people are very friendly. There are separate areas for small and large dogs, as well as a water fountain, water bowls, and waste bags.

Redwood Regional Park is around 25 miles from San Ramon, and is located in Oakland's Piedmont Pines neighborhood. If you're looking for an adventure in a peaceful, natural setting, look no further! Dogs are allowed on-leash everywhere in the park, and they're even permitted to roam unleashed in the undeveloped areas of the natural recreation area. The trails are shaded, which makes this place the perfect place to escape the summer heat. There is also a creek in the park where your pal can dip his paws on a hot day. Make sure you bring waste bags, water, and snacks, and you’ll be good to go!

Fremont Central Park Dog Park is around 23 miles away from San Ramon. The small, one-acre park provides maximum security for your beloved pet with a double-gated entrance. There are two separate areas so large and small breeds can play with pooches their own size. The park is covered in Astroturf and provides plenty of waste stations which make it easy to clean up after your canine companion. Picnic tables and benches give pet parents a good place to relax while supervising their furry friends. Children under 8 are not allowed in the dog park.
