Saddlerock
Does your dog love splashing in the shallow water? Saddlerock is a haven for the waterdogs. The neighborhood begins below the Arkansas River and extends a few miles above the river's edge. Above the Arkansas River is the 6.3-mile Katy Trail. Along the trail, you can take in scenic views of neighborhoods and parks. Spurs off the trail will lead you to shopping districts. The trail follows an old corridor of the former Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad, and has plenty of things for your Fido to sniff out. Bring a bowl for him as there are restrooms and water fountains every mile on the trail. For RV campers hitting the road, Saddlerock hosts the Riverview RV park, which welcomes pets for both vacation camping and long-term stays. Camping at the park gives you quick driving access to an 18-hole golf course, museums, and the Cain's Ballroom & Brady Theater. Dogs are more than welcome at the Riverview, but for some of the other attractions, you may need to hire a Wag! Walking sitter.
