Sunset Hills adjoins Sappington and is home to Kitun Dog Park. It has over an acre of the most inviting green space in south St. Louis County. Locals consider it a leash-free paradise for pooches! A separate playground is fenced for the small dogs, too. Agility equipment adds to the fun. Dogs have all they need to make a day of it at Kitun. The dog park has drinking water, and the doggie waste baggies are in endless supply. The human companions can feel spoiled a bit, too. They have some prime shaded benches for watching their best buddy play. This dog park is a members-only park. Registration and fees are payable to Sunset Hills.

Kirkwood
Kirkwood adjoins Sappington on its west side. Here, you'll find Treecourt Unleashed Dog Park Adventure, a private dog park. Nine fully fenced acres give pups plenty of space to play! A smaller area is sectioned off for the small dogs. A natural creek cuts through the acreage, and adds to the excitement this large tract of land has to offer. There are numerous trees planted throughout the park and along its perimeter which provide mutts-needed shade on hot days. A few walking trails circumnavigate the dog park, and give the human companions a good vantage point of the entire playground. Dogs must pass a temperament screening before being allowed to join the pack.

St Louis Hills
St. Louis Hills is just seven miles north of Sappington, and is home to Southwest City Dog Park at Willmore Park, a members-only dog park. It has over an acre of fully fenced grass and trees for the best outdoor fun a dog could possibly imagine. The small dogs have their own playground, too. There is water on-site. Kiddie pools are a fun addition in the summer months. There are toys to share, and a few pieces of agility equipment in the large dog area. A dog’s person can sit on a bench and watch or maybe add to the photo album with a few pictures of the furry buddy.

Ballwin
Ten miles west of Sappington, you'll find one of the most furiffic parks in the area: Tails and Trails at Queeny Park. This five-acre fenced park has all the things dogs need to have a tail-waggin' good time. There are numerous pieces of permanent agility equipment. Dogs can make a splash at the creek and lake that are part of this puppy playground. A pavilion complete with wi-fi gives the human companion a sheltered place to wait while their furry friend has a blast. There is drinking water available. Benches are scattered throughout the property, and waste stations make clean ups super easy. Registration and fees must be paid to St. Louis County prior to visiting the dog park.

Arnold City Limits
Unlike most of the cities located close to Sappington, Arnold has not one, but two dog parks! The Paw Parks at Arnold City Park and at Ferd B. Lang are free public parks where pups can make new friends. It is short 10-mile drive to a play date that will make a dog happily tired.
