Peaceful, quiet and scenic, Saratoga is best known as a refuge for tech workers from the hustle and bustle of the greater San Francisco area. While the town is quiet, it’s still conveniently located -- only a 19-minute drive from San Jose and a 30-minute train to San Francisco proper. While there’s no designated dog park in the area, you and your pup are sure to sniff out something to do! The real draw of Saratoga is its natural surroundings. Head for the hills, and you’ll find many pooch-friendly trails for you and your buddy to explore, along with some of the most beautiful scenery California has to offer.
For doggie dining, be sure to check out the Bell Tower Cafe! This popular breakfast spot serves up a mean breakfast burrito, and welcomes wagging tails at their outdoor patio area. You and your canine companion can work it all off with a leashed walk in one of Saratoga’s several community parks -- Kevin Moran Park on Scully Street is a particular favorite with local dog owners for its acres of green space. And don’t worry, your pooch can still get their off-leash exercise. You’re always just a short drive away from local dog parks where your furry friend can run free!
Hello, I'm Ruth! I grew up with Ruby and Bobo, an adorable Dachshund and Fox Terrier. I have many years of experience walking and loving them. Recently I cared for my friend's dog for half a year while she was away at work. I look forward to meeting your dog and giving them an awesome walk experience!
