New York is a stylish state, especially close to New York City. However, when you get further upstate to places such as Saratoga Springs, you find a rustic charm that is just begging to be explored by you and your furry friends.

For the adventurous pet owners, try the Saratoga Springs State Park. Even though this park is a popular resort as well, there are still several great jogging and walking trails throughout the park to explore with your pooch. You will definitely enjoy the lush forests and other scenery around the park.

For a fun day out, take your pet to get glamor shots by Glamour Paws. This is a new event in the city, but true to New York style, a really good time. Encapture the beauty of your best friend forever in a pet head shot. Afterward, let them roll around in the dirt to get rid of their clean smell at the Kelly Park Dog Run. This is a small, enclosed dog run to let dogs blow off some steam while meeting new canine companions.

Saratoga Springs offers a fantastic resort to check into during your stay. The Gideon Putnam Resort and Spa welcome you and your pet for a time of relaxation. This lovely resort is surrounded by the rural charm of upstate New York, and they will do everything to make you and your pet feel at home.

There are a couple of choice restaurants that you are more than welcome to have your pet join you at. 5 Points Market and Deli serves delicious custom made sandwiches and Ice House offers tasty American cuisine for the night time meal. Both restaurants allow your pet to dine with you outside on their patios.

Saratoga Springs is a gorgeous city that strives to make not just you, but your pet as well feel spectacularly terrific.
