As one of the most family friendly neighborhoods in town, Rees Corner is a wonderful area to live with your two and four-legged babies. Neighbors will often meet at Willis Tucker Park to walk Fido and let the children enjoy the playground. The off-leash area at the park includes a large 6-acre meadow, a 1.25-acre forest area, and a smaller space for small or shy pups. One of the more recent features is a “Pack it in – Pack it out!” system to cut back on trash removal. So, remember to bring water and your pooch’s bowl and doggie poop bags to dispose of waste when you get back home.

Route 9/ Ave D
Walking through the well-maintained neighborhood of Route9/Ave D, puppy parents are likely to meet other pooches out for their daily romp through the sniff-tastic grass and shrubs. Three Lakes

Keeping your pup on his leash is important since the wildlife occupy the 25 acres of marsh land and 200 acres of forest. The trails are semi-maintained, so wear your hiking boots and make sure to bring water for you and your pup. If you are walking through the park during hunting season, make sure to wear orange or bright colors, and stay in the more populated areas with Fido and the family.
