Snowflake has very mild winters and sunshine all year 'round! And, there are plenty of dog-friendly places just a road trip away to give you and your dog lots of outdoor time. Fortunately, there is a vet clinic in Snowflake, so you won’t have to travel far to find quality pet care!

For paw-friendly fun, you can head to Show Low, which is about 20 miles from Snowflake. The Fool Holly Lake Recreation Area is a pawfect spot for outdoor-loving dogs. You can grab a camping spot for a few days, or just visit for the day for some boating, fishing, hiking, and more. Dogs are welcome in most areas!

If you want to make a longer road trip, you can opt for the great city of Phoenix, which is about a three-hour drive from Snowflake.
