If you want to go for a swim with your dog, you should jump in the car and head the 15 miles over to Howarth Park. At low tide, there are miles and miles of room to run and splash safely. You could even pack a picnic to make a whole day of this adventure! There’s a series of trails that you could walk your dog through. This is a 28-acre, Fido-friendly park that invites you to come spend the afternoon or the entire day. You will always find something new to do!

Your sense of adventure could take you to faraway places -- like 30 minutes away to Double Bluff Off-leash Dog Beach. Come and run wild and free, without tying your dog to his leash. It is all about playtime in this 2-mile stretch of sand and surf. Your Fido could even meet a new fur buddy or two! This is an unfenced, off-leash area, so please keep your dog where you can see him and make sure he understands voice commands before coming out. Bring a towel and sit out and watch the boats on the shipping lane. Enjoy the view of Mount Rainer, too!

It is time to go out and run. Grab Fido’s leash and go for a long walk along the Tails and Trails Japanese Gulch Dog Park in Mukliteo. There are multiple different trails with a variety of lengths so you can get all your exercise in. If you would rather, you could take off Fido’s leash and let him roam the fenced-in area, where he’s free to play with his fur buddies. There is agility equipment for him to play on, too. You can sit in one of the shaded areas of the park and watch Fido sniff out a few new fur-iends. With so much to do, it is worth the 30-mile drive.

Willis Tucker Dog Park is only 22 miles from Spee-Bi-Dah. It offers you and your dog a great way to make new playmates. It is set up so that you have a nice walking trail before you get to the 10-acre, fenced in area where Fido is free to run and play. There are seating areas spaced well throughout the park so you and your dog are both comfortable. You can easily find a peaceful meadow to play fetch in if the crowd gets to be too much. This is an off-leash dog park with all the amenities you would expect.

It’s high time to go on an adventure that will you have Fido begging to come back for more.  It is roughly 33 miles to Tambark Creek Park Dog Park, but there is a ton of stuff to do and see here. You and your dog can take a walk on the leash around the area, or you could stop and play in the off-leash fenced in area. There are dog cleaning areas set up, but you will need to bring your own water. There are always lots of fur friends to chase and play with. You and Fido will love this dog park!
