Runners, bikers, and dog walkers love St Johnsbury for the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, accessible from the Passumpsic South neighborhood. This is the longest rail trail in New England, stretching from the Connecticut River to Lake Champlain. Just north of St Johnsbury, you can find the small town of Lyndon. This town is proud home to the woofderful Lyndon State Forest, just a 15 minute drive from St Johnsbury.
