The city of Stone Mountain, Georgia is located in Dekalb County, not too far outside of Atlanta. Being so close to Atlanta means there’s always something exciting going on nearby. Interestingly enough, Stone Mountain’s main attraction and its namesake isn’t actually located in the city! However, there are a few different veterinarian clinics in Stone Mountain, so if you need care for your sick pup, you’re certain to find one that works for you!

If you’re looking to get active with your furry friend, Stone Mountain isn’t the best place, as there are no dog parks in the city. Don’t panic, though – there are plenty located just a quick drive away. However, if you’re looking to just grab a bite to eat with your pooch, you’re in luck! Stone Mountain is home to two dog-friendly restaurants. Café JAYA is a local, non-profit coffee house where you can enjoy a latte on the patio with your dog right beside you. If you want something a bit heavier, The Village Corner serves up authentic German cuisine. Delicious! Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome at both establishments.

All in all, Stone Mountain, Georgia is a great place for all the members of your family, and that includes the four-legged ones!
