The lovely little town of Suwanee, Georgia, located at barely more than half an hour drive from Atlanta, has been awarded many times as a great place to live by notable magazines. The people of Suwanee can choose between the Town Center Park, the Suwanee Creek Greenway, the Suwanee Creek Park, the George Pierce Park and the Sims Lake Park if they fancy a stroll through the park with their dog. However, as these are public parks, dogs have to be on a leash at all times.
There are three alternatives to these parks in and around Suwanee, Georgia, for less restrictive doggy fun. The Settles Bridge Park is located in Suwanee itself and offers a nice fenced area with plenty of shade from the trees and agility equipment. The Rabbit Hill Park is located in Dacula is also a good option and offers a bark dusk area. Then there is Newton Park in Johns Creek where the play area is enclosed with a wooden fence and the soil is made out of Astroturf.
