Dog Areas in Truro

Just over 100 miles from Boston is the summer vacation town of Truro, Massachusetts. Over half of this town is part of the Cape Cod National Seaside, and the local scenery is so beautiful you'll never tire of looking at it or exploring it with Fido by your side. Only about 2,000 people live in Truro year-round, but in the summer months, the area is flooded with vacationers who come to enjoy the beaches, the weather, and of course, the excellent local seafood.

One of the best spots in Truro for enjoying that local seafood is at Cap Tip. It also operates as a fish market, but Cap Tip Seafood also serves up dishes like lobster rolls or hot clam chowder. They also have a handful of dog-friendly tables outside, so you don't have to leave your pet at home to experience some of the best seafood in Massachusetts. Truro itself doesn't have any veterinary offices, but just a few minutes of driving will get you and your pet to one of several that are in the surrounding area. Although this town is busy and popular in the summer, there are plenty of things to do all year in Truro with your dog.
